Hi, I’m Luis Chavez :)

I am a proud first-generation Mexican-American photographer based in Chicago. My journey with photography began in middle school when I picked up my first iPhone (the iPhone 4!) and couldn’t put it down. What started as snapping everyday moments turned into a lifelong love of storytelling through images.

I graduated with a B.A. in Television and Radio Broadcasting with a minor in Electronic Media Production from Lewis University. Since then, I’ve turned my passion into a career, capturing moments that matter most—whether it’s the energy of live events, the intimacy of weddings, or the artistry of filmmaking.

For me, photography isn’t just a job; it’s about preserving memories that will last a lifetime.
